Real name: T. A. S. Mani

Composer, percussionist and drummer from Bangalore (India), born 1936, died 14 March 2020 in Bengaluru.
He specialized in South Indian percussion music and especially at the mridangam. He was the president of Karnataka College Of Percussion (Bangalore, India) which he had founded in 1975 and where he also was training musicians from India and abroad. He also did lots of session work.
He was married to Smt. R. A. Ramamani.
