陳永良 ( English: Joseph Chan ), a native of Zhongshan , Guangdong , is a famous Hong Kong composer, lyricist , arranger, record producer and trumpet player. In addition to composing Cantonese pop songs, he also scored for films. Joseph is well known for the production of songs by singers such as Deanie Ip (葉德嫻) and Prudence Liew (劉美君). He has now moved to Canada . His son Jerald Chan (陳哲廬) is also one of Hong Kong's famous musicians .
