Simon Karagianis started out as a dj and was a member of Taste 92.5fm from 1997-2002 as Sy"too"Sly. He was signed to Ed Case's Killer Instinct label then used as a sub label to Columbia records and released "Dirty Punk". A publishing deal with Sony/ATV music publishing followed and he started to produce and remix under the name Syphon/Syphon Filter. In 2004 he co founded Love2Funk records with Leon Sood (Leon 1 Love) and released under the name Sy Get Funky.
