Carl Mathisen
Norwegian accordion player, born 1870, died 1933. Was among the artists who took part in Norway's first ever commercial gramophone recordings, at Grand Hotel in Kristiania (Oslo) December 1904. Emigrated to the town of Ray in North Dakota, USA, in 1905, never to set foot in Norway again.
