The Arriaga Quartet

Members: Luc Tooten, Ivo Lintermans, Jacques Dupriez, Michael Guttman

Belgian string quartet, founded in 1980.
Named after Juan Crisostomo de Arriaga (1806-1826) a composer aptly dubbed the “Spanish Mozart”, the Arriaga Quartet was founded by a group of young musicians freshly graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the illustrious Juilliard School of New York.

For the US string quartet associated with Chick Corea's 1976 album My Spanish Heart, use Arriaga Quartet.
