Tom & Dick

Real name: Tom Poederbach & Dick Swaneveld

Effective period / Period of releases: 1969

Members: Tom Poederbach, Dick Swaneveld

Two technicians with the N.O.S. (Dutch Television) in Hilversum, Dick Swaneveld and Tom Poederbach, wanted to make a recording using old-fashioned roaring twenties techniques and for their first record named themselves Poody and the Roaring Seven. Poody was a short name for Tom Poederbach.
After this first production they started using their own names and they became Tom & Dick. A year and a half later they had a huge hit in Holland called "Bloody Mary". It did however cost them their job as they were not allowed to have any side-projects.
