DEFJIM aka LIL BITCH is a rapper and hip hop producer from Vienna and UK. DEFJIM is also the alias of rapper and singer Jimmy Zurek and fka JIMMY AND THE CAR CASSETTES. DEFJIM stands for: Discriminated Exploited Fellows Join In Music.

Frontman Jimmy Zurek has English roots and Viennese blossoms.

Already in spring 2012, when DEFJIM (Jimmy And The Car Cassettes) had the first jam sessions in Vienna, Jimmy refers to the band's music style as "Fake Detroit Punk", describing a mixture of no-wave with punk rock, hip-hop, techno, house and death jazz.

Combining the sound of technoid electronic beats and real drums with impelling guitars and the voice of a feministic punk-preacher the listeners of DEFJIM are propelled into a lavish party mood, confronted with political contents at the same time.

Vienna Wildstyle Recordings and Jimmy Zurek already released the debut EP-single “Jimmy And The
Car Cassettes“ on 12" vinyl and digital in June 2013, produced by Sebastian Schlachter and Umberto Gollini, mixed and mastered Patrick Pulsinger.

The Japanese radio station Block FM Tokyo already played DEFJIM (under the old name Jimmy And
The Car Cassettes) on the occasion of their first concert on the 21 of March in the Vacant in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

On the 26th ofJuly 2014 DEFJIM (under the old name Jimmy And The Car Cassettes) performed live in a trio-formation: Jimmy Zurek (vocals, alto saxophone, guitars, trumpet), Wolfgang Möstl (guitars) and Audiodevice (drums) at the Viennese music festival „Popfest Wien 2014“.
