Turkish-born operatic tenor.

He is educated in Ankara and Manchester. Many roles include Rodolfo in La Bohème with the Canadian Opera Company and Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Gothenburg, Portland and Buenos Aires, Pang in Turandot at the Dutch Opera and Nemorino in The Love Drink at the Opéra de Nancy. He has given concert performances with the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Colin Davis, including as Fenton in a Grammy-winning recording of Falstaff. In La traviata, he sings Alfredo, a role he previously performed at the Opéra de Rennes, the Flemish Opera, the Teatro Regio di Parma and the Aspendo Opera Festival in Turkey.
