Brian Ales has been making his living as a sound engineer and producer. Over the course of his career he has worked with musicians such as Joe Lovano, Oliver Lake, Bob Moses and Lyle Mays. Ales' at one time ran the studio in the Canadian Banff Center of Music. Besides that line of work, Ales is a guitarist, composer and arranger, writing and producing music for cinema and TV productions in the US and Canada.
