Real name: Onzy Durrett Matthews, Jr.

January 15, 1930 (Fort Worth) – November 13, 1997 (Dallas). Los Angelea-based composer, arranger, pianist, and band leader from the 60's and 70`s. Arranged two early Lou Rawls albums on Capitol ("Black and Blue" / "Tobacco Road"). He also worked with Ray Charles and Duke Ellington. He appeared in several films and television shows as an actor.
