Ashenafi Kebede (Amharic: አሸናፊ ከበደ) was an Ethiopian composer, conductor, ethnomusicologist, historical musicologist, music educator, novelist, and poet.He was born 7th May 1938 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and died 8th May 1998 in Florida, USA.
