Frank Rehrig
Real name: Frank A Rehrig
Born 1913 Bowmanstown Pa. A self-taught accordion and fiddle player, he played locally with his sons as the Rehrig Family Featuring ‘Pop’ Rehrig. The Rehrig Family” formed a band in 1963 with their father, Frank “Pop” Rehrig. In 1974 the group recorded an album at the Dolly Parton Studio in Nashville Tenn. After “Pop” Rehrig retired from the band, the three sons changed the band name to “Twitty Fever. He died July 3, 1986, in Lehighton, Pa.
