Roman Lebedev (b. 11 Aug 1966) is a Russian virtuoso guitarist, experimental and computer musician, sound designer, and underground producer. From 1984 to 1995, he was best known as "Kostyl" (crutch in Russian), solo guitarist of controversial and notorious extreme metal band Korrozia Metalla. Subsequently, Lebedev became one of the leading figures on the post-Soviet underground experimental scene, co-founding ethnic/electronica band Volga in 1997, recording and performing solo electronic music as Idioritmik, and actively collaborating with various acts, including Alien Pat. Holman, Notchnoi Prospekt, and many others.
