Founded the Detroit R&B and soul labels Silhouette, Contour, A Kudo Recording, Flick Recording Co., , and Lu Pine Productions in addition to the publishing companies Flick Publ. Co and Lupine Music (Lupine). Died on January 8, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
