OLY grew up in southern California with her parents and 7 siblings, one of whom she appeared with on The Oprah Show in 2008, singing their original song. After high school, she moved to Tennessee to write music full time. After 4 years, she returned to California and began working on her solo career. Now, she resides in Las Vegas, NV. OLY is of Cuban, Puerto Rican, Chinese, and Hawaiian decent. She sings as well as plays guitar and piano.
