Spaceband Detroit a.k.a. Spaceband is a six to nine piece Detroit based collective featuring funk and worldbeat rhythms and experimental soundscapes. The band was founded at the end of the 90s and has played many local music festivals including 4th Street Fair, Dally in the Ally, Hazel Park Art Fair, Delecktricity and the Peoples Art Fair at The Russell Industrial Center.
Thanks to their participation in AJ's Coffeeshop's 2-week non-stop music marathon they are part of the Guinness Book of Records.
