Enrique Llácer "Regolí"

Real name: Enrique Llácer Soler

Spanish drummer, percussionist and composer, born 20 June 1934 in Alcoy, Spain – died 11 April 2024.
He started with drums and percussion at ten years as an autodidact, later to study at the conservatories of Valencia and Madrid. Years later he expanded knowledge by attending classes with Kenny Clarke in Paris and Joe Jones in New York.
In 1952 played jam sessions with Barcelona's best jazzmen of the time, in 1955 he settled in Madrid, where he played regularly in the Dorian Club. With the opening of the old Whisky Jazz club, he was hired as drummer for several seasons and also at the Balboa Jazz Club.
