Members: Rachael Dadd, Will Newsome

The Hand are Rachael Dadd and Will Newsome, they met working on Bristol’s ferry boats in 2005. They’d sing Diane Cluck and Joni Mitchell songs together on quiet days at work, started making each other mixtapes and soon decided to try writing songs together. Released an album in 2008 called Berries From The Rubble and have since toured throughout Europe and Japan numerous times. Initially a banjo/kora duo, became more developed after hours and hours of a meditative songwriting process. From Bristol, UK.
