He studied at Berklee College of Music (Boston) with great educators such as Mick Goodrick, Ed Tomassi, Dave Santoro, John Damian and then graduated with full scores at the Musikhochschule Luzern, studying with Christy Doran, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Frank Möbus.
