Bolivian, was born in La Paz, on June 10, 1958.

Professionally he played with: Folklor 2000, Los Payas, Los Yuras, Kollamarca, Wara, Bolivian Jazz, Taypi K'ala and the Bolivian orchestra Musica De Maestros. His time in the Wara group was essential, with this group he recorded three albums, later he founded Música de Maestros in 1980, proposing a musical style based on student music.

His contribution as a researcher was concretized in musical works that Música de Maestros has recorded for more than 30 years, it should be noted that the interpretive quality achieved is due to the direction of Rolando Encinas and the dedication of the musicians who are part of the orchestra.
