Born in Montevideo and since the 7 years studied piano, solfegge and harmony with Prof. Gladys Bemaor. In 1979 she joined the University School of Music to the degree of singing with the Mtra. Natalia Zimarioff of lpuche Riva. Since 1985 performs two chamber concerts and oratory as solist. In 1987 he made his debut as "Donna Anna" in the opera Don Giovanni in the Teatro Solis. From that year operates in all the official seasons: "Norina" (Don Pasquale), "Michelle" (Carmen), "Liú" (Turandot), "Aida" (AIDA), Madama Butterfly (M. Butterfly) among others. lncursiona in theater, chosen by Ducho Sfeir to the role of the soprano in "Master Class" (6 months in poster in Montevideo and international festivals in Caracas and Brazil). Since 1984 is teacher at the National School of lyrical art (theory and literacy). In 2001 he won a competition open the teaching position of responsible of the Chair of Canto (2 cycles) in the University School of Music.

Nace en Montevideo y ya desde los 7 años estudia piano,
solfeo y armonía con la Prof. Gladys Bemaor.
En 1979 ingresa a la Escuela Universitaria de Música a la
licenciatura de canto estudianando con la Mtra. Natalia
Zimarioff de lpuche Riva.
Desde 1985 realiza sendos conciertos de cámara y oratoria
como solista.
En 1987 debuta como "Donna Anna" en la opera Don Giovanni
en el Teatro Solis. Desde ese año actúa en todas las
temporadas oficiales: "Norina" (Don Pasquale), "Micaela"
(Carmen), "Liú" (Turandot), "Aida" (Aida), Madama Butterfly
(M. Butterfly) entre otros.
lncursiona en teatro, elegida por Ducho Sfeir para el papel de la
soprano en "Master Class" (6 meses en cartel en Montevideo y
festivales internacionales en Caracas y Brasil).
Desde 1984 es docente en la Escuela Nacional de Arte
Lírico (teoría y lectoescritura).
En el 2001 gana por concurso abierto el cargo docente
de Encargada de la Cátedra de Canto (2 ciclos) en la
Escuela Universitaria de Música.
