Columbia Orchestra

Long-lived house orchestra that began recording for Columbia in late 1896. Organized by Victor Hugo Emerson to replace Issler's Orchestra after that band stopped recording for the label. Earliest versions of the orchestra were directed by cornetist Tom Clark.
