Originally from Armenia, Yan Manou emigrated to the UK in 1992. As a professional guitarist for over ten years, he cites jazz as a major musical influence. Having been seduced by the intricacies of drum & bass programming, Yan decided to try his hand at producing some tracks of his own. Just a year later he had releases on 45 Revolutions, and 'Just Create RCDS'‎ – and was receiving strong reviews from the music press. Jan uses only basic equipment in his studio, believing strongly in a minimalist approach to equipment as well as to music. He loves his EMU 6400 Sampler, works like a fanatic and is naturally dedicated to his world of music!
