raku is a romanian rapper, known especially in the field of underground hip hop music since his start in 1993. Initially a member of a band called Utopik, he later joined the Morometzii group in 1997, leaving four years later. Raku has appeared on various hip hop and rap compilations, as well as on the studio albums of some groups and rappers from Romania.

The collaboration with Ombladon's song "Egali din Naștere" (Equals from Birth) won a prize at MTV European Music Awards, while the song "Sufletul Orașului" (The Soul of the City), performed with Bitză, received a nomination at the Romanian Music Awards.
