Band formed on the occasion of a live performance of Big Star - 3rd and other songs at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California (USA) on 2016-04-22. Orchestral backing on the night was provided by Kronos Quartet. By then only Jody Stephens was still alive as an original member of Big Star.
