Symphony orchestra based in Innsbruck (Austria), founded in 1893 as "Stadtorchester Innsbruck" by the music educator Martin Spörr on the occasion of the first "Tiroler Landesausstellung". It is located at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck, playing opera and theatre performances as well as many concerts per year. In 1997 the orchestra was officially renamed into Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck.
