Barnacle is Thomas Kamholz's ambient project. As Barnacle, Thomas focuses on the use of manipulated field recordings and the application of various types of software. The Barnacle project is based in part, on the layering of recoreded improvisations and the use of specifically placed, or planned, pieces of audio.

In a world that is becoming emotionally dead faster and faster everyday, the barnacle project is Thomas's attempt at helping humans feel again.
