Founded as Thör in 1983 by Snoopy (bass), Aitor Vázquez (drums), Richard Ran (guitars) and Jon (vocals).
The band changed their name shortly after, first to Sabotage (inspired by Black Sabbath's album of the same name) and later to Sabotaje to fit Spanish orthography.
