Chris Ho (born October 28th, 1954, died September 27th, 2021) was a Singaporean radio personality, singer/songwriter, club DJ (under the name DJ Mentor), journalist and film maker. Following a stint with the garage/ hard rock band Transformer from 1979 until 1982, he formed the first new wave band in Singapore, Zircon Lounge, to critical acclaim, who released one full-length album in 1983 and four additional singles between 1985 and '86. Ho's 1989 solo album, Nite Songs In Day-Glo, sustained that acclaim, and beginning in 1994, he would produce a further series of solo releases with the X' Ho moniker.
