Hector Bingert

Real name: Héctor José Bingert Aleman

Jazz flutist and saxophonist, living in Sweden since the late 1960s, born March 3, 1944 in Montevideo, Uruguay. He goes under the name Fino Bingert.

He is living in Sweden since the late 1960s when he joined the Cuban group Lecuona Cuban Boys.

Bingert has played with Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr and Stevie Wonder, among others. In Sweden, he is known for playing the saxophone solo to Lill Lindfors' song "Musik skall byggas utav glädje". He performed with Lindfors when the song was performed, in English, at the beginning of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1985. In addition, he plays soprano saxophone and quena flute on Lisa Ekdahl's first record of the same name. He is also the leader of the big band Latin Lover Big Band which he has with his son Daniel Bingert.
