St. Louis, Missouri Rock Band, Bigbluemonkey or Big Blue Monkey, were formed in 1998 by Vocalist John Taylor, Guitarist Ryan Phillips, Drummer Dan Marsala and Bassist Perry West. In 2000, West and Taylor would both depart from the group, leading to Marsala moving to Vocalist and released an EP in 2002 called Story Of The Year. The band would then change their name to Story Of The Year later that year and the rest is history.
