A punishing metal outfit based in the beer fueled city of Milwaukee WI, Population Control delivers a non-stop blend of no-frills thrash and melodic black metal. Drawing the majority of their inspiration from bands and musical styles from the 70s/80s & 90s: namely the everlasting classic Bay Area thrash; its cousin, NWOBHM, and black metal. The band emerged in 2014 with a musical style that was unique to the scene they played around in. There is zero nostalgia found in this band, no go-fund-me campaigns, and no breast implants. Just riffs.

Population Control signed with Beer City Records in 2019, and recorded their debut record Death Toll which came into the universe October 11th 2019.
