Worked at Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs, Sterling Sound and Mediasound
His cutting are recognizable by the initials "JR" etched in runouts (see pics)
He was one of the most important mastering engineers and a studio fixture of the Disco era.
He helped create the first 12-inch 45 RPM single while working with Tom Moulton.
