German sinto jazz guitarist. From December 1969 until 1972 with the Schnuckenack Reinhardt Quintett. Led his own Häns'che Weiss Quintett with Titi Winterstein from September 1972 until 1980. He continued working in even smaller ensemble formats, mostly under the Häns'che Weiss Ensemble moniker, often together with his nephew Martin Weiss and with swiss bassist Vali Mayer.
His early work was more in the original style of Django Reinhardt, but along the way, he adopted latin and bebop vocabulary into his style.
