Founded in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1992 by members of then-still-active Garage Rock/Country/Rockabilly combo Hirn Mit Ei. The new project titled "Björn Sund Trio" quickly changed from the amateurish Jazz Rock/Brass Sound/Easy Listening spoof of their early days to an ambitious Jazz/Art Rock/Ambient project (appearing on stage a.o. with Damo Suzuki of "Can" fame), with the humorous aspect still shining through.
