Real name: Cornelius Flowers

American baritone saxophonist known as Snooky Flowers. Born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in Leesville, Louisiana. After serving in U.S. Army, relocated to the Bay Area of California. He put together bands for Janis Joplin and was a member of her Kozmic Blues Band, also worked with Mike Bloomfield and rehearsed with Jimi Hendrix.
