Hans-Georg Görner was a German composer, choral conductor, organist and musicologist. He was convinced National Socialist, Nazi Party member since 1930, including director of Kammerchores des Deutschlandsenders (Chamber Choir of Germany), and founder of the Berliner Kantorei. He served as organist and Kantor at the St. Marien/St. Nikolai.in Berlin in 1931 and from 1936. He was Music Director of the Propsteikirche in Berlin from 1937 to 1945. After World War II, Hans-Georg Görner had since 1953 a college career in the DDR and composed extensivly.
