Humberto Bettencourt Santos (Humbertona) was one of the greatest references of Cape Verdean guitar. Soloist of excellence is possessed of an innate virtuosity of execution and which imposes a characteristic and distinctive style in the history of the Cape Verdean Music with Mornas and Coladeras. He was born in 1940 and died on 10 August 2023 at the age of 83.
