Psych-rock group based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK.
Formed in 2014 by Aaron Bertram (2), Alex Johnston (3) and Chris Watson (11) with the idea of performing live mind bending improvisations. Chris left the band after their performances early December 2019. December 2019 Phillip Brookes joined on synth and organ, then in July 2020 jarrid kolodnicki joined on guitar after moving to the UK from Canada. Since then the band have switched to more of a blend of writing and improvisation rather than just improvisation. Early 2022 phillip brookes was let go and jarrid kolodnicki moved to australia in January 2023. So now SDBIA perform as a power trio with new guitarist tom astley.
