Jojo Nathaniel was born on 13th March in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He started his career with Indi-Pop in 90s. His First music album released in July 1994 ''Hum Tumse'' featuring 8 songs. He was also noticed in Jimmy Shergill debut music video "Woh Kaun Thi". Jojo also sang for film Auzaar, song " Dil de de dena".
Presently Jojo Nathaniel is living in Kolkata. He is married to Jhumpa Nathaniel with a son Jijo.

His name should not be misinterpretated with Ms. Jojo Mukherjee who is also another playback singer.
