Toni and Royce were a husband and wife singing duo from Brisbane, Australia from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

Toni McCann recorded two singles in 1965 on the Sunshine label. She met her future husband Royce Nicholls during a recording session when he played bass with the band that backed her, The Fabulous Blue Jays.

She abandoned her solo career, and Nicholls departed the Fabulous Blue Jays to form a performing and writing duo who released several recordings in the 1960s. During this period, they married.

Toni and Royce toured England, Europe and Japan where they played army bases, clubs and lounges and also appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Returning to Australia they recorded ''Fraser Island / Australia Revisited'' in 1971 under the name The Meeples on the M7 label.

Toni and Royce were popular on the club and cabaret scene and toured with the Queensland Arts Council children’s program around Australian schools for nine years.
