Real name: Gareth S Brown
Under the name The Unpleasants, Gareth S Brown released solo recordings using electronic and midi instruments in a style reminiscent of post-minimalist modern classical with folk elements. While this project is broadly the same as that continued from 2006 onwards under the name Gareth S Brown, The Unpleasants had an additional cabaret/prop comedy element during live performance.
