Debuted as the vocalist of the band オレンジ/Orange from Sendai.The band name was later changed from オレンジ to 大宮京子とオレンジ/Kyoko Omiya and Orange.
The first single シーズン was under the name オレンジ but all subsequent releases have been 大宮京子とオレンジ.
Although she retired from public activities after the band disbanded, she only performed live once in the 2000s.
