A Japanese Mood Kayo / Soft Rock group formed in 1981, with Shu Tanaka as leader. Shu Tanaka was a guitarist of GS group called 三枝伸とデイ＆ナイツ (Shin Saegusa With Day & Nights).

While basing the group on soft rock music, they are good at pops (close to New Adult music), It is one form of Modern Mood Kayo popularized in late 70s.
The band name is derived from "New York City, New York U.S.A."(Nyc Nyusa)
