Troendegruppen was founded in the late 1960s of Christian students at Framnäs Folkhögskola. During the fall of 1968 the choir began with regular exercises once a week: the choir consisted of 17 members with Stig Sandlund as there leader. The choir has released several music albums. The first came in 1969 under the title Det angår dig.
