Giuseppe Chierchia
Born in Pompei, Naples, Italy, on 14 August 1952. He passed away in Formello, Rome, Italy, on 6 July 2024 at the age of 71.
Author and composer. He reached fame (as Pino D'Angiò) with his famous disco hit "Ma Quale Idea" in 1980. The song was sampled by many artists in the 90's, such as French hip hop duo No Se and Australian dance duo Madison Avenue.
Giuseppe Chierchia also wrote for many other artists like RAF (5), Miguel Bosé, and Mina (3) to name a few.
Received the Rhythm & Soul Music Award in 2001.
