Bolivian Andean music band originally founded by Orlando Rojas in the 1970s.

The group experienced a rebirth in the 80's with Takaatsu Kinoshita as its leader with the intention of showing the best of Bolivian folklore.
One of the characteristics of this famous musical group is that its members are not limited to being interpreters, each one is a composer and enriches the repertoire of Luz del Ande with their works. The other characteristic is that its members are all solo musicians.
