Played with various groups of musicians before concentrating on his own albums of instrumental music, released on his Yew Tree Magic record label.
Now once again active on the sound design front, with recently released projects including Steamworx for Camel Audio, Kitnetix for Appled Acoustic Systems, and Geosonics for Soniccouture.

Martin also writes for various music technology magazines, and contributes regular columns for Sound On Sound in the UK and Audio Technology in Australia, as well as many features and reviews.
