Dutch singer, born in Den Helder on September, 21 1935. She was discovered in 1958, by Wim Poppink of The Ramblers, and released a couple of singles under the stage name De Onbekende Zangeres. After none of these managed to chart, she recorded a few songs for Philips, EMI, and Fontana, now under the name of Stella Bos. She again changed her name when she worked on an LP with Johnny Hoes, now settling with the mononym Stella. She obtained her first Dutch chart position in the Spring of 1985, at the age of 49, when she teamed up with Marty Schreijenberg. Over the next eight years she'd have another handful of minor hits, releasing her last single and album in 1993. She died on January 1, 2022.
