Bérénice Deloire learned from the best. Raised from the sound of Broadcast and Stereolab, the young lady refined her taste for ethereal melodies and psychedelics waves. After taking a share of the band Talkie Walkie, she starts up in 2015 Good Morning TV : her solo project and self vision of Pop. In this collaborative work with Parisian producer Barth Bouveret, we discover a retro-futuristic universe that borrows to Deerhunter’s reverb guitars as much as Greg Araki’s « Nowhere » aesthetic. Dreamlike and disillusioned, Good Morning Tv’s music aims to place creativity and experimentation at foreground. A sensible pop closed to noise-music sometimes and mostly deeply involved into shoegazing. On stage, Bérénice teams up with a premium combo, embodied by Thibault Picot (Brace! Brace!), Guillaume Rottier (Quetzal Snakes, Holy Gray…) and Barth Bouveret. Frenchies intending to lively defend this hybrid first EP, but also a constantly moving identity, hard to classify. That’s for the best.
